Description

A clump forming flower with deeply fringed red orange petals with black hued centers atop strong stems and smoky green leaves. It is recommended to plant annuals or perennials near or in front of the poppies, as they go dormant after blooming in Summer and the foliage will re-emerge in fall.

Waited patiently and it finally grew and bloomed. Planted in spring 2020 and it bloomed middle of May of 2021, 6b.
It's shorter than I thought it would be.

Unfortunately my Turkenlouis Oriental Poppy has not started growing in my garden yet. We did have a cold spell come in after planting; this probably has affected its ability to thrive. I am eager to watch it grow.
