Ship Season: Spring
The Siberian Iris Caesar's Brother iris produces deep purple flowers in late spring with sturdy stems which rise to 40" high above a clump of grass-like, linear leaves. The delicate leaves make them one of the queens of fresh cut floral bouquets. After blooming is complete, the vase-shaped foliage will retain its green color into the fall. Symbolizes: eloquence, deep sentiment, faith hope & wisdom. February birth month flower. 25th Wedding Anniversary flower.

I bought the Value Pack of 5. Delivery was timely and all products were in good condition. Nice size roots. Planted same day. Don't look for anything to happen until next Spring, but I don't see any reason that they should not be successful plantings.

Received order. Has been too wet to plant with all the rain. Only time will tell. Rate all the tulip bulbs a number 5! They are beautiful!!! Planted last fall.

Anxious to see them bloom

Pros:

Cons:
  • 1 weak plant on arrival
We purchased these late in the season so probably won't bloom this year. All are doing well except one looked a little weak when they arrived and it hasn't really perked up despite a lot of TLC. Still can't wait to see them bloom, probably next spring. This was our 25th wedding anniversary and was surprised to read these were 25th anniversary flowers :)
