Stunning vibrant yellow, orange, white or pink fluffy bottle brush like blooms will stand out in the back of the garden border. Foxtail lily also look great in perennial beds, when you need vertical accent.
Planting tip: The top of the crown of the bulb should have at most 2" of soil on it. You will want to dig the hole 10" deep to fit the large roots that are attached to the bulb. Form a cone of soil in the center of your hole and spread the roots carefully so the crown rest upon the cone, then back fill. Foxtail prefer well drained soil, so amend your planting area if need be.
