The President Canna is know for its extremely vibrant and large red blooms, which stand atop stems from lush, green leaves. Growing not quite as tall as some of the other cannas, the President is a good choice for those who want the "tropical" look but maybe don't have quite as much space. These cannas will do well any moist garden or container in the full sun. Hummingbirds like these!

The canna bulbs are easy to plant and always sure fire bloomers.
Great set of rhizomes and can’t wait to see them bloom.
Just planted these and they looked great out of the package, now looking forward to these sprouting and growing.
I planted my cannas later in the summer season (early August), and so far, only one has shown any growth. That one is about 10 inches tall, but the other two show no signs of life yet. I am holding out hope that they will come up for next season.
