Exquisite deep purple double flowering nodding columbine blooms will adorn your shady locations when you plant the Black Barlow Columbine. The blooms are so dark purple they almost look black and will really look divine when planted with white, yellow, orange and or pale pink blossoms of other late spring blooming perennials. Plant in a naturalized garden in part shade for best results.

The black barlow columbine did grow in my garden when I planted it (2024). Hoping for it to bloom in 2025.
Arrived in good shape and is doing well waiting for first Bloom's
I received the root and it looked healthy, but, I wasn't sure...it has leaves and is thriving! Great quality. My neighbor got a lot of things and he's thrilled; already growing!
This set of roots was small but it was the first to bloom even though it was the tiniest one I received.
Already blooming. Very pretty & yes, actually bunny proof!
