Exquisite deep purple double flowering nodding columbine blooms will adorn your shady locations when you plant the Black Barlow Columbine. The blooms are so dark purple they almost look black and will really look divine when planted with white, yellow, orange and or pale pink blossoms of other late spring blooming perennials. Plant in a naturalized garden in part shade for best results.

Grew and flowered in 1st season! Planted in pots. Grew great!
Bought this because columbines are native to US. Cheated a lil because it's hybrid but we try. It has not flowered yet but has got some leaves. Super excited for at some point it to bloom. We have native purple and reddish and wanted something a lil more impressive we will see👀
I bought this as a clearance item last summer and was unsure how it would do, but it came up this year and was stunning.
The black barlow columbine grew well in my garden.
plant arrived in good shape, has been growing just fine
