Fittonia is a compact, low-growing, spreading plant with striking foliage. The small deep or light green leaves have prominent silvery-white, pink, and/or red veins. Fittonia is also called 'nerve plant' because the veins resemble the nervous system of the human body. The bright colors can cheer up any interior space. Fittonia likes bright, indirect light but keep them out of direct sunlight as that can scorch the leaves. Fittonia are native to South American rainforests and like high humidity, so mist regularly or add a pebble tray. The soil should stay evenly moist but not saturated. Add this unusual houseplant to any room that needs cheering up!
All houseplants come in a grower pot. Choose to add a stylish decorative pot and your houseplant will be safely shipped with the grower pot placed in the pot of your choice.
Please remember that every plant is special and unique. Size and shape will vary from plant to plant and can fluctuate seasonally.
