Pink Futurity Dwarf Canna

They've come up and are growing just fine. I can't wait to see the blooms later this summer.

I bought this canna late into the season and popped it into my raised bed in an empty spot I wanted to fill in not expecting much but it has grown so quick and looks so happy! It’s going to be blooming any day!

I ordered 2 packages of 3 rhizomes. The first package arrived with HUGE rhizomes, and 2/3 we're heathy and ready to plant!
The 3 rd had maggots and moldy, mushy, black spots throughout. I sterilized my hori-hori knife and slices these pieces off then planting the main rhizome.

Second package had the same issue despite being ordered weeks after the first. . .

Here's to hoping the two "yucky" ones yeild beautiful results, post- clean up.

I am very pleased with those cannas. I am glad that they are "dwarf" as advertised and do not grow too big. They do nicely in the planters I put them. One of them started blooming last week, and it is very pretty. I like it a lot!

Ordered 3 bags, are all contained nice healthy tubers. Wanted a different canna that was not carried by Holland Bulb Farm and have ordered from 2 different companies. Sadly disappointed with what received from both companies. Both sent tubers that were very tiny either dried up, or mushy. The ones received from Holland Bulb Farm were 4 to 5 times the size and in great shape. In fact they are already starting to sprout in starter pots. Just finished ordering additional 3 bags. Will just use Pink Futurity for all large pots this year. Thank you Holland Bulb Farms for shipping quality products. You have all my future bulb orders!
