Golden Self Blanching Celery is a tried and true variety originating in Europe.  The stalks are thick and sturdy and blanch easily.  Golden Self Blanching Celery is a dwarf variety and doesn't have the bitterness or strings that come with a standard size crop.  This variety is great just for snacking or can be used in soups or stews.
