Top Notch Golden Yellow Wax Bean is a compact, bush variety that is great in the garden or in a container.  The pod is straight and hangs in clusters around the main stem, making picking easy. This is the bean for delicious flavor! The 6" pods of the Blue Lake Bean are mouthwatering fresh or canned. Planting seeds every 3 weeks until the first of August with assure a continuous fresh crop. Easy- to-grow for all gardeners. Garden Tip: Pick beans regularly to keep plants producing. Expect to be able to harvest bush beans 2 or 3 times.

Contender Stringless Bush Bean is always the winner in our taste tests. These beans are full and rich in flavor and easy to grow. A stringless bush variety that is excellent fresh, canned or frozen. Harvest the 4" pods when firm and fully elongated, but before the seeds are large. Garden Tip: Beans require little care except regular weeding and adequate water if the weather is dry. Water about 1" per week.

Pak Choi, or Chinese Cabbage, is grown for it's stems rather than the leaves and is used mainly in Asian cuisine.  Pak Choi has a mild flavor and crunchy texture making it perfect in a wide variety of dishes.  The stalks reach 8-10" and are better grown in moist but well drained soil.  

Red Acre Cabbage is an heirloom variety that produces red/purple heads that are very compact, requiring less room in the garden than a traditional green variety.  This variety is also resistant to splitting with heads reaching 7" and an average of 3 pounds each.  Red Acre is great raw, sauteed, broiled or added into soups.  This variety also has better storage capabilities than other varieties of cabbage.

Stonehead cabbage is one of the easiest varieties to grow and is resistant to disease and splitting.  Each head reaches and average of 4-6 pounds each and has great holding ability making this variety great for multiple harvests.  Cabbage is frost tolerant and produces more flavorful crop when planted in cooler temperatures.

Little Finger Carrots are one of the most prolific varieties available.  Fast growing, Little Finger Carrots are the perfect size for canning reaching only 3-6".  The deep orange color and sweet flavor makes this variety great for snacking!  This Nantes type does well sown right into the garden but can also be grown in containers.  

Rainbow Blend Carrots are pretty and tasty, too! The blend of varieties is a pleasure for the palette, and the assorted colors are also fun for younger eaters. The mix consists of Atomic Red, Bambino, Cosmic Purple, Lunar White, and Solar Yellow. Garden Tip: Plant in loose, rich soil that has been worked. Remove all rocks and debris that could cause stunting and forking of roots. Harvesting is easier if you soak the carrot bed with water before pulling.

Catnip can be used for ornamental and culinary purposes. The leaves and shoots have been used in sauces, soups and stews. The flowers, as well as the leaves are used in herbal teas. Catnip has a minty, lemon taste. Cats love it! 75-85 days to maturity. Garden tip: Harvest the leaves as the flowers begin to bloom. Cut off the top of the leaves, stems and flowers. They can be dried or frozen.

Snow Crown Cauliflower is one of the easiest early varieties available!  Snow Crown grows quickly forming crowns that reach 7-8" across and weighing 1-2 pounds per head.  This sweet, mild tasting cauliflower stays in prime eating condition for up to 10 days in the garden.
