A rainbow of colorful stalks in red, white, yellow, gold, violet and orange. Leaves are green or burgundy with colored veins. Very attractive in a vegetable or glower garden. Use small fresh leaves in salads and steam or stir fry larger leaves. Cook stalks as you would asparagus. Begin harvest when plant is about 8" tall. Pick outer leaves first or harvest entire plant. Thyme has a strong piquant or lemony flavor. It enhances the flavor of meat, fish, and poultry. Also used in landscaping where their small mounding growth habit makes a delightful addition to most beds. Supreme when potted or in hanging baskets. Garden tip: Leaves can be harvested for fresh use throughout the summer, but the flavor is best just before flowering. To dry, cut the stems just as the flowers start to open and hang in small bunches.

The Beefsteak Tomato is a delicious, ribbed fruit on vigorous vines. This variety is great for slicing on sandwiches or relish trays. A favorite and popular variety. Indeterminate plant will grow best if given support. Garden Tip: "Maturing time" means the time elapsed after you transplant healthy plants into the garden to the time you harvest ripe fruit. This number will vary by a couple of days depending on where you live and the weather.

Early Girl Tomatoes mature early in the season offering yield much sooner than other varieties.  This indeterminate variety is very fast growing and produces tennis ball sized, red tomatoes.  Early Girl tomatoes are slicing tomatoes and are great additions to sandwiches but can also be used to add a sweet flavor to soups or sauces.  

Red Cherry Large produces in abundant clusters of firm, round cherry tomatoes that are about 1¼" in diameter. Vigorous vines produce all season long and are prolific bearers. This is an indeterminate plant. Perfect for salads and kebabs. Garden Tip: Grow on a trellis for easy picking.

Roma is the classic Italian tomato. Big crops of bright scarlet, plum-shaped fruits, meaty with few seeds. Best choice for paste, canning and sauce. This is an easy to grow plant this is determinate. Garden Tip: Never prune determinate tomatoes. You could severely limit fruit production because the fruits are borne only on the ends of branches.
