Simply attatch to a power hand drill and drill the hole. This larger size can also drill a plant size hole.
So much better than kneeling on the ground with a spade. Good for seniors, like myself.....

This tool is the bomb. It makes planting bulbs a snap, and I used it to dig a bigger hole by drilling a couple of times. I wish I had this years ago! Great quality, easy to use and drills through tough roots and dry dirt.

I bought the auger because I had seen someone use one on TV. I also bought about 24 bulbs to put in various parts of our yard. The auger did exactly as I hoped. It dug a nice hole, and I didn’t have to get up and down for every bulb I placed.

This is a great value! It’s not as expensive as the ones at the big box stores, and it’s also longer! I planted 69 bulbs in about 10 minutes. I have over 100 tulip bulbs that I will plant in the fall. I can’t wait!

Very good purchase! Absolutely wonderful! It would be very difficult to plant a lot of bulbs without it. Using a cordless drill, it only takes seconds to make nice holes, even in Georgia clay.
