Bulbs arrived healthy, looking forward to the first bloom
I bought this in June and it was one of the few root stock plants that sprouted for me. The flowers were stunning! Sadly, it did not survive the winter (Zone 8a) even though I had protected the plant from directly sitting in snow/ice. Maybe it would have done better in a larger pot or directly in the ground.
Toad lilies are mighty and this raspberry mousse did not disappoint. After two days it is already an inch tall from the ground.
I'm pretty sure I see the leaves of this plant and it's growing ok. The roots looked good when they arrived. It hasn't flowered or gotten very tall yet. I planted a few different bear roots in the same area, so I'm not absolutely certain, but I think this is growing ok.
The toad lilies were thin roots, but they sprouted within a few days. Growing slowly, so I don't think I'll see blooms until next summer, but glad they're up and growing.
