Honorine Jobert Anemone has large white blooms with yellow centers in late summer (August/September). Honorine Jobert Anemone often called Windflower do best when planted in partial shade, or protected from hot afternoon sun. In climates with cold winters it is best to apply a layer of mulch before winter. These perennials may be slow to establish but will naturalize and form a colony.

About 2 weeks in, they have done well. It looks as if one of them is looking to flower which is a surprise as I didn't expect much of that. We will see what happens.

Excellent plant. Looks great flowering in the fall when other plants have given up. Easy to grow. Lots of blooms by 2nd year. I planted with hostas to shade to the roots--worked well.
