Ship Season: Spring
This is the giant dinosaur of Hostas! This jumbo cultivar has slightly wavy, medium green, rounded heart shape leaves that can grow 16-18" wide! The entire mound forming plant can grow 70-80" wide. It does well in part shade to full shade and gets white flowers that appear early summer. Be patient with this slow grower, as it make take several seasons to reach it's full growth potential.

Was so pleased with my two orders. Bulbs were huge and my bare roots were healthy and sprouting, and my canna rhizomes were wonderfully sized. Thanks for giving your customers the plants they pay for and deserve.

Pros:
  • Rooted starts!
  • Great price
Cons:
I'm so excited about these hostas! They came packaged perfectly, rooted starts, I planted them shortly after receiving them and they are doing great. They for sure perked up, more so then others and I've had some cold nights here in WA. I'm excited to see them get big and come back every year! 100% worth the price.

Cons:
I planted this in a shady spot (Spring 2020) that receives almost no sun on the side of the house where we also get a lot of run off from rain. It started to grow right away. It's small and I can't wait to see it grow to a large size, but know that will take a couple years.

I planted it on the same day I received the package. The plant sprouted leaves in the first week.

Pros:
  • easy to grow
  • great price
  • good quality
  • arrived in good shape
  • bright leaves for multiple seasons
Cons:
LOVE these hostas!! We had a dog named Rex... actually, T-Rex... so this is a great way to remember all the fun times with him in our backyard. The roots arrived in good shape. I wasn't able to plant them right away, so I popped them in some small plastic pots with the soil they arrived in and they began to grow immediately! I daresay, it's been a month and they're still in the pots and getting tall! Can't wait to see them meet their full potential in our wooded backyard!
