Oregano has an aromatic, warm and slightly bitter taste, which can vary in intensity. When cooking with Oregano it can be used in pizza, lamb, vegetables, stuffings, and egg dishes. Fresh oregano is antibacterial and contains plenty of vitamin K, vitamin E, manganese, calcium and tryptophan. Dried oregano is also beneficial to your health, but over time may lose some of it's health benefits.
