Bleeding Hearts are a shade loving long lived perennial. This old fashioned favorite is a medium size perennials. Bleeding hearts grow 3' tall and should be planted in the back or middle of the border or bed. Summer blooming perennials should be planted in front of your bleeding hearts to fill the void left by the bleeding hearts going dormant mid summer when the temperatures begin to rise.

Came in good condition, everything was clearly labeled. It also had plant depth and mature height on the packaging which was a huge help. Even came with a reference pamphlet. Can't wait for the plant to grow.

This was my first attempt at a bleeding heart plant. I planted the root last fall 2019 and looked throughout the spring/summer for any sign of a plant. I fear I may have accidently pulled it out thinking it was a weed or possibly the dog has dug it up. I planted two more this year. Hopefully next year I will see a plant.

The roots I received were heavy & mature. I'm sure this spring will show a beautiful array of flowers.
