Crocus Vanguard is a beloved early-spring variety known for its unique blend of soft silvery-lavender petals highlighted with delicate violet-blue tones. Among the first crocuses to bloom, Vanguard brings welcome color to the garden when winter is just beginning to fade. Its large, cup-shaped flowers open wide in the sunshine, revealing bright golden-orange centers that attract early pollinators.
Compact, hardy, and easy to grow, Crocus Vanguard is perfect for borders, rock gardens, containers, and naturalizing in lawns. Its gentle pastel coloring pairs beautifully with other spring-flowering bulbs, creating elegant early-season combinations. Returning reliably year after year, this charming crocus gradually multiplies to form colorful drifts that signal the arrival of spring with style and grace.
