Actually grows in a bucket of water.

I didn't read the instructions and just left everything in the basket, threw some rocks on top and dropped it in the pond, and now I have lily pads!

Came as described with basket, dirt/fertilizer and bulb. Doesn’t come with gravel/rocks to hold the dirt in and down but that was easily remedied. Followed easy directions, put in 34” of water and lily pads started appearing in about two weeks. Looking forward to when it starts blooming.

Kit made planting easy. Too early to comment on growth or flower as I just planted them.
