Camassia quamash, also called Camas Lily, Wild Hyacinth, Indian Lily and its taller sister Camassia leichtlinii ("Caerulea") are too beautiful to stay unknown any longer. Both are mullein-like plants of which Camassia quamash is the smallest one with deep blue starry flowers. Lovely along the edge of a pond or in a flower meadow. Native to North America!
