Giant Allium (Allium giganteum) is the tallest of the large flowering allium with 4"-6" diameter, ball-shaped flowers. The Giant Allium adds a wonderful element to a garden and will even catch the eye of the non-gardeners! These huge flowers blossom the size of softballs with a gorgeous purple color and sway atop sturdy stems in late spring. These add great texture and look great when planted amongst other shorter plants.

These are so much fun! I am officially in love with alliums for my “cottage style” garden. They add height, interest and intense color. I wish I could upload pictures. These were late spring blooming for me in mid-Virginia & lasted a good month and a half. I left them standing past their prime color because their dried form is also striking and they stayed standing for a full month and a half past bloom. I now have another allium variety in full flush.
These bulbs are healthy. I planted them right away and look forward to them coming up and blooming
