Brussels Sprouts are a long season crop so it is beneficial to begin them indoors in colder climates 6-8 weeks prior to last expected frost in Spring. Once transplanted outdoors, place in full sun and well-drained but evenly moist soil. During dry periods, make sure to water about 1" of water per week to ensure a strong, healthy root system. Harvest in mid to late Fall starting with the bottom sprouts first. Once lower sprouts have been harvested, the plant will continue to produce smaller at the top, continuing the season for several weeks.
