I purchased the Tinkerbell amaryllis bulb in late February and planted it in the ground after our last frost in mid March in zone 8A in north Mississippi. It's now late April and Tinkerbell has bloomed (a tiny stalk with four enormous flowers). She's currently producing leaves and there appears to be a second bloom stalk emerging.
I purchased TWO, one to keep, and one to give! Both bulbs are having great success and are currently blooming! Good value for the item. Each bulb produced two bud stalks. I would purchase again! The bulbs each arrived in a burlap material bag with a twine drawstring pull with an attached pretty picture of what the bulb variety bloom looked like with it's variety name and a place with a printed TO and From on the tag, making this perfect for gifting!! The bag is pretty roomy, so I believe if you wanted to, you could probably pot it up and still put that in the burlap bag?!
