This is the first waxed amaryllis I have ever had. It is quite amazing that it grows without being watered. As amaryllis go, this one has a relatively short stem. It is producing 6 relatively small blossoms compared to most amaryllis I've had. I cannot tell yet if it is going to produce a second stem. It has some leaves and something else is coming that may be a leaf or a new stem.

I gave this as a gift to my parents who live in an assisted living facility. It was wonderful because no care required, and yet a beautiful bloom in the middle of winter on their windowsill. Thank you.

Hi. I purchased a bulb for a 94 year old to give her something to watch and enjoy. However, the first bulb never bloomed. It fell apart. Never grew sprouts.

You were gracious and quickly sent a second bulb to my friend. This one appears to be heavier and we hope it grows.

It would be helpful if instructions on how to grow the flowers were included.
