I'm fairly new to planting bulbs, but I followed the instructions and this little plant is thriving. No doubt I won't see flowers this year but I know its going to be gorgeous. Thanks Holland Bulbs

When received the peony root eyes were over-grown. In order to protect the eyes from the sun, I created a tent of burlap around the peony. The exposed eyes slowly hardened and greened up. The burlap was removed. It was able to tolerate the sun and grew nicely. During an unusual heat wave of 93 in May, the peony went into shock but I am hoping it will recover. Some peonies are more sensitive then others.
