My amaryllis was delayed at a Fedex shipping hub for almost a week. When it arrived, it was trying to escape its box--that's how hardy it is! With the first drink of water and ray of sunshine, it really took off. The blooms are a bit darker than the ones in the picture and I love that rich color. The first stem had 4 huge blooms and now the second bud is now beginning to open too. I'm so happy I ordered this amaryllis.
