Great gift for friends! No care needed. Everyone loved it! Definitely will buy again.

My 3 gifts were very well received. I was so hopeful that the bulbs would be in bloom by Christmas and they are! They make a beautiful presentation with the red wax base and the candy cane blooms.

The first bloom was Christmas morning. Then a total of 5 flowers on that spike.

I ordered this around Thanksgiving, and it was delivered as a Christmas gift to my mother on Dec. 4th. It didn't bloom in time for Christmas or New Years, but it's blooming now, in February, and it's spectacular. It has a stalk with 4 huge blooms, and another stalk with a bud that may get taller and bloom too. It gave her something to look forward to. She couldn't believe that the waxed bulb didn't need to be planted in a pot or watered. Ideal gift for anyone, really.
