The Amaryllis bulb arrived as advertised and now is blooming beautifully.

Most unusual! Has 3 buds! The first one is blooming now and 2nd and 3rd one are growing.

I couldn't believe these bulbs would flower without any water or care other than putting them in a bright room but they did! I bought one for myself and one more for each of my best friends. One of my friends actually got two separate flowering stems on hers but the other friend's bulb actually died. I can't imagine what happened to his bulb because I saw the start of the growth in the photo he sent me. I can only guess that the room was too cold? Anyway, I would recommend this bulb. It has been very fun to watch it grow and the flowers are very beautiful.

This plant bloomed within two weeks. Likes morning sun. This is a great gift for someone hard to buy for because it is care-free and flowers keep on blooming for a while. Live plant, no watering, flowers are beautiful, what's not to love! And on sale, you can afford to gift "just because"! Will definitely buy more from Holland.
