I'm giving my review of the American Pie Dahlias 4 stars, because they have started coming up, but haven't flowered, yet. I am excited to see them. These are my first dahlias.

My first go at growing dahlia. So far the foliage is growing nicely and is a beautiful color. Can’t wait to see the blooms.

The quality and quantity of these tubers impressed me upon arrival: Numerous healthy tubers for each plant, packaged nicely. Each clump could hardly fit into my 15" pots! The resulting foliage and bloom is already stunning on June 25. The catalog description doesn't do the foliage justice: the term "dark foliage" is often used loosely, but this glossy deep blackberry color is a wonderful surprise!
