The bulbs arrived healthy and happy. They are very nice sized bulbs. I got them in the ground as soon as they came in. Cannot wait for these beauties to bloom for me in spring. The color combo is absolutely gorgeous. HBF has the best bulbs ever!

Pros:
  • - Vibrant Color
  • - Bloomed quickly
  • - Excellent flower quality
  • - I purchased on a deal
  • - First year flowers are quite tall
  • - Fast shipping
Cons:
  • - Some bulbs looked horrendous
  • - I have only seen Two black/purple
  • - Beware of Squirrels
Excellent blooms! These are best fall planted but I planted them late (January) and they bloomed in March! (I live in Charlotte, NC for reference) I was pleasantly surprised. Squirrels were quick to destroy some sprouting tulips however they will be okay as the bulb and roots were safe. I would like more black and purple tulips as out of the pack I’ve only seen two sprout thus far. The colors are absolutely wonderful and fresh. Some bulbs looked awful when they arrived but they grow fast and healthy. I will definitely be purchasing flowers from HBF again.
