I purchased this Itoh peony in June, not the best time to plant a peony. The root is healthy with 3 eyes, but only one eye sent up a stem. Hope to see some bloom in 2 years.
I received a nice healthy bare root Itoh Peony. I won’t expect much out of it for quite some time but it is growing and healthy. The price was great when compared to the $99 they are asking at our local garden centers. I wish it would bloom this year so I could comment on the color, as compared to the picture but I’m hoping it’s as beautiful as the one they show on the website.
Revived a large root and planted according to directions. Plant grew quickly and is getting established. Can't wait to see the blooms in the Spring.
