I ordered this around Thanksgiving, and it was delivered as a Christmas gift to my mother on Dec. 4th. It didn't bloom in time for Christmas or New Years, but it bloomed in January and it was spectacular. It gave her something to look forward to. She couldn't believe that the waxed bulb didn't need to be planted in a pot or watered. Ideal gift for anyone, really.

I got this gift for an elderly friend of mine. She was feeling down and this really brightened her day.

40 amaryllis bulbs arrived on time and in excellent order. Bulbs are blooming now and all recipients are delighted.

When I send one of these to a loved one, I often receive photos showing its growth and a lot of surprised, excited remarks on the size and beauty of the blooms. Its often as fun for me as the giver as it is for the gifted and I will continue to send them to brighten up the homes of friends and family.

Everyone that I gift love the wax Amaryllis! It doesn’t need to be watered and does well when not in direct light. It also blossoms several times.
