This is the third of this "Drinking Gourd" hosta I have purchased from Holland Bulbs this summer. I am delighted with how quickly they grow and how aesthetically pleasing they look when established.

Good healthy root which grew quickly.

The Abiqua Drinking Gourd Hosta seems to be growing pretty well even though it was probably planted at not the best time of year going into the hot summer months. I think it likes the shady spot where it has been placed, although I made need to move it further from the house to accommodate it's expected large size (if all goes according to plan!!).

This was my first time growing bare root plants and I feel like these gave me the immediate gratification I wanted compared to other varieties (not hostas) I tried. Can’t wait to see them at full size.
