great gift

The amaryllis is now blooming - 4 blossoms with one more bud. It is gorgeous. Everything you need is in the box. The directions are clear and easy. I am delighted with the results

Loved the fact that this came as a no bother kit. The flower is delicate and pretty, reminds one of Spring.

I planted this directly in my flower bed since they were such a great price. We had unusually warm wet weather this year and she budged early with a HUGE blossom and 4 more buds when a last minute freeze hit and I lost the bloom! I didn't get a pink color I expected, mine was more coral, but that could be due to the crazy weather. If I had kept this indoors, I would still be bragging about this huge bulb! Can't wait til next year!

The picture was very accurate regarding color. The bulb was huge and arrived in very good condition. This amaryllis was a bit shorter than two other varieties planted at the same time. The blossom stem (with 5 blooms!) was very sturdy and emerged about the same time as the leaves, but grew faster. There is another blossom stem starting, so it will have blossoms for a total of several weeks. The only negative was that delivery was not as promised, and customer service was not particularly helpful or cordial. So, for the product itself, an enthusiastic 5 stars; for the customer service 3 stars.
