I planted 150 of these bulbs last fall. Currently, as of April 3rd in zone 6b I have approx. 120 coming in. I think out of the 150 I had 3 that were smaller in size. As I was moving some of them after growth started, That said, I know the squirrels had a feast on some of my bulbs so I do not fault HBF for the missing 30 plants. Sizes look good, I cannot wait to see them bloom. Should be sometime within the next week.
I bought these bulbs and planted them last fall in zone 5b. This spring 95% of them have come up beautifully in a great range of colors! The other 5% are either coming up and flowering with very short stems or their stems twist themselves around in strange ways. No fault of the company, I think it may have something to do with the weird weather we had in early spring. I've loved all the tulips and I'm hoping they'll naturalize for future years!
nice size, but disappointed they seem to be mostly the same colors and shade of red and pinky red. Where's the yellow?
great bulbs, good hearty quality
I planted these in fall in SC in our terrible red dirt. Some are part shade, some full sun and they're popped up, bloomed, and in a variety of colors.
