lovely

It was my first time ever planting tulips, so I was very nervous. I waited and waited and waited. These popped up just like pictured! I was so relieved. I planted in full shade and they got 2 ft here in 7a. Such a pretty pink, I got so many compliments from my neighbors. So so pretty!

These tulips were lovely from first green growth, outlined in pink like a watercolor paint brush stroke, to full pink blooms on the tallest stems! A perfect backdrop for my yellow fringed tulips, also from Holland Bulb Farms. My neighbors complimented them and a friend commented on how perfect they were, so regal and stately, almost like they were announcing, "hello world, I am a tulip!"
