I planted the amaryllis, in a pot, on my patio in January 2025 zone 9B in FL. To prevent squirrels from digging up my bulbs, I covered all of my pots with reinforced chicken wire. I followed the instructions and even did a bit research on the internet to ensure the proper soil/planting condition. Well let me say....I am quite pleased with it. The first bloom cluster is a bit low to the ground, but it has 3 blooms. I'm hoping when these fade, I will have longer stems and more blooms. Time will tell.
Heady fragrance, tall stems. Smaller blossoms than expected.
My Peacock bulb grew beautifully, and it just bloomed. There are 4 flowers on it, and they are just gorgeous! I would highly recommend this bulb.
Nice really good sized bulbs these are number 4@5 out of 18 bulbs ordered.
Stunning blooms! Extraordinary color, impressive flower size.
