Pros:
  • Strong stems
  • beautiful color
Cons:
The first tulip to come up in my Zone 5b garden this year, even before Exotic Emperor. Great accompaniment to the hyacinths. Unexpectedly delightful. Foliage is not mottled (many gregii tulips have mottled foliage). Mine are short as the hyacinths, making them a great pairing. Same leaf shape as you expect from tulips, just shorter. The flower heads are a very nice size. Color is ivory tending toward soft yellow at the base with brown stamens. Blooms that had already emerged stood up wonderfully to an unexpected snow storm. Every single one bloomed!
