Pros:
Cons:
I planted these lilies for a friend of mine and told him they will not come up until April, so that he has patience. Six of eight bulbs sprouted in no time and started growing like weed, quite unbelievable, especially compared to other bulbs that I planted. Also the plants are resistant to cold (covered with a blanket); we had twice this month temperatures below freezing in Houston (not like last year though). I'm sure they will flower soon, probably beginning March, before anything else.

Pros:
  • Healthy bulbs
  • all came up
  • all blooming
Cons:
  • Not the variety of bright color expected
Ordered these last fall and was waiting until they bloomed to review. The bulbs were all healthy and I eagerly planted them all in front of my white house. Don't get me wrong...these lilies are beautiful, they all came up, and they are all blooming/bloomed...but not one bright pop of color among them! The blooms are either creamy white with spotted pale burgundy throats, pale yellow (I had one pale yellow) with spotted burgundy throat, or brown spotted/blotchy with yellow edges. No orange, pink, or rose, as depicted. Not gonna lie...I am disappointed. Had I known they were all going to be so washed out in color, I would have planted them in the back border in front of some nice green shrubs so they would pop. These are not even noticeable in front of my house from the sidewalk. They are just too white. Like I said, great bulbs and they are very pretty, just not the effect I was going for when I planted them. I am going to move them to the back of the house this fall so they have a backdrop that doesn't wash them out next year. I do understand it's a 'mixed' bag, just wasn't expecting them to all be so light and white.
