Early Royal Dwarf Iris Mixture

Early Royal Dwarf Iris Mixture (85171)

4.86 stars, based on 14 reviews
This blend of fragrant Dutch iris are absolutely charming and adorable. Fragrant flowers in blue, violet, and yellow bloom very early spring, when snow drops and early crocus are also blooming. Best when used for groundcover, borders, and rock...

Another great early bulb. Color for my garden and food for early pollinators.

I planted these near my gutters because irises help to absorb water. They look really lovely and are great early spring flowers. They bloom at around the same time as crocuses, so I may plant some of these in my lawn to pop up early.

Good but not great

I ordered these on clearance and planted them in late January or early February in northern CA. When I got them they seemed of questionable quality (dry, no sprout evidence, and didn't seem very firm ) but I think most of them sprouted.

Most of the flowers were white, they did have a cute subtle striped pattern on the petal tips . but mostly white. I got a couple blues and one purple. No yellow. Not all of them made flowers either, some were just the leaves. Hopefully next year there will be more bulbs and flowers, but all in all they were a good purchase. I just wish there were more colors in there and less white...

Great bulbs

First time planter here and I ordered a variety of bulbs this fall. I'm in zone 7 and everything I planted (and expected in early spring) is popping up. One of these iris's is already blooming with another one ready to bud. A+!
