I received five rooted cuttings in good condition, potted them up, and one is growing very well, leafing out nicely; three of the others are growing along more slowly, and I think one has failed. I'll leave them in pots a bit longer, then transplant out into the garden. I don't expect blooms this year, but that would be a nice bonus. Four stars, because I'm pretty sure one hasn't survived.

After receiving these healthy roots from Holland Bulb Farms, these Splish Splash Cranesbill have taken off!



The blooms' playful splash pattern are perfect for adding subtle whimsy to the garden.



I initially planned for these to be planted around my mailbox but ended up planting them as a groundcover for a fig tree with a few Iris and a spiderwort - perfect for protecting a tender tree and encouraging vists from pollinators.
