When my astilbe rootstock arrived, I was relieved to see that it was healthy and ready to sprout. Three weeks later, I've got what looks to be a great start to this beautiful specimen.

Received these quickly, followed directions and planted them. They grew quickly and they’re lovely!

HUGE root systems were sent. Planted right away and very happy with their growth.

I figured that I was taking a big chance ordering 5 astilbe in July in Virginia especially since mine had finished blooming in the 90 degree weather. I potted them keeping them away from strong sunlight. Not only did they fill out beautifully but two have flower buds. They look hardy and ready to join the others in the yard next month.

I put in the astilbe roots and virtually all of them took off and are clearly thriving.
