I ordered several Astilbe starts for a shady area of my yard and they arrived well packed and in good health. After planting them in my garden they are all sprouting leaves and appear to be doing well.

I ordered the red astilbe and planted it in a pot right away. A month later and it’s full and blooming. I did not expect a first year bloom. I have the pot where it receives morning sun and shade for the rest of the day. I keep it well watered. I am very pleased!

I ordered 3 and all came up without issue. I love this plant because it looks so different and really makes a statement and stand out in the flower bed.

All of the bare roots I bought came up quickly. The foliage is a lovely, reddish color. No blooms yet, but I know perennials can take some time.
