nice flowers they are getting ready to bloom

I am very pleased with the condition my Stargazer and Pretty Woman lilies arrived recently! They were nicely packaged and had nice, healthy growth on the bulbs, from 2 - 6" each. I planted them in my garden in black plastic pots as I have had trouble with moles in my garden and hope this method will successfully preserve these beautiful lily bulbs. At this time, 9 of the 12 have 4" - 8" of growth on them. A portion of my land is forested and therefore, we have an abundance of slugs. I use hazelnut shells to attempt to deter them and also do regular 'slug patrol' to rid my garden of the nasty creatures. I'm so excited to see my new lilies bloom and intend to continue to increase my lily bed, which reminds me of my great-grandmother from Salzburg, Austria.

I received the bulbs. They looked very healthy and fresh and I planted them immediately. However, nothing has come out yet! Its been 3 weeks now and I am left wondering :(

The "Stargazer" Oriental Lily is one of my strongest new bulbs this season. It has two blooms ready to open after just 8 weeks!
