I live in south central Indiana. I ordered these 2 years ago and planted them in the fall and they all came up and bloomed the first spring. Gorgeous colors! This is the second year and so far the ones planted on the south side have come up. That's great considering the advice for my zone is to dig them up every winter and replant them every spring, which I do not have time to do.
It's too early for flowers but all the bulbs came up & have grown a couple of feet tall. If the flowers are as beautiful as the plants they're going to be awesome!
I got a great deal on these bulbs as it was a bit later in the season for planting them. However, all but one or two in the large variety pack have sprouted! I am always pleased with my purchases from this company.
There was some confusion over whether I would receive the gladiolus and peruvian daffodils. I was sent instead of 60 glads and 4 (6?) daffodils, 2 packages of 6 mixed hosta and 2 questionable daffodils. I chatted with a very friendly lady who offered a refund for both. I accepted her offer but told her I would have to go elsewhere for the glads as I had already done the prep work. The refund for the peruvian daffodils appeared a few days later. An e-mail came saying they were sending me the glads. I received 80 today. All in all a satisfying exchange. I have no qualms about dealing Holland Bulb Farms in the future.
Bulbs arrived healthy. Great price
