These have been great despite squirrels planting peanuts that neighbors give them. The birds, fresh mulch, and our presence has deterred the squirrels a bit, but we’re glad these little guys grew despite them and colder than normal weather. Putting little bamboo canes also helped keep squirrels away from our grow bags, it’s just not as easy in ground.

Seed potatoes arrived when promised, were in excellent shape, and were thru the ground w/in 9days ! Now, 23 days later they're 10-12' tall, were covered w dirt last week when they were 5-6' tall and poking out again. They have an excellent dark green color and "growing like a weed" in our early spring rainy season. I will let u know about harvest results in 60-90 days. I'm very happy thus far.

I cut into segments about a week before planting. So far, so good. They have sprouted beautifully, already I am covering leaves with mulch, additional dirt. Hopefully it should be a wonderful harvest.
