The Lakeland Autumn Dahlia starts with a beautiful dark pink bud which flourishes into a stunning sunset yellow with coral orange tips as it opens, much like how leaves change color in Autumn. Its gorgeous blooms can reach up to 8" across at maturity. This beauty blooms from Summer all the way until the first frost in Fall. This variety works well as a border in a garden bed or in containers. The Lakeland Autumn Dahlia will make an interesting addition to a cut flower arrangement as well!

I planted all three tubers early summer. They're all very healthy and bushy, with 5-6 big blooms on each plant with more buds on the way. But I can only give 4/5 stars because the blooms aren't what I was hoping for - they're bright yellow throughout. No color variation, and none of the exciting oranges and pinks I was expecting.
I have always loved dahlias and finally decided to grow some this year. The bulbs from Holland Farm arrived in good condition and sprouted easily. Now I'm just waiting for the summer heat to make them bloom! The leaves look healthy and I'm so excited!

The flowers turned out to be purple and white, nothing like the pictures. However they are beautiful and healthy plants.
